About John F. Gaffney Green Tree Golf Course

Known for its tight, tree-lined fairways and top-notch greens, John F. Gaffney Green Tree Golf Course challenges both experienced and novice golfers. The 72, 5600-yard course features a regulatory 18 holes of varying complexities.

  • Hole 1: The par-5 opening hole sets the tone for the course to come, with a narrow dogleg right followed up by a green with sand to the left and water behind.
  • Hole 3: One of the only par-6 holes in the Northeast, this hole features a creek that runs two-thirds of the fairway from the left and a green that is almost entirely surrounded by sand bunkers.
  • Hole 8: This challenging par-4 starts with a blind tee shot that is slightly uphill and ends with a green that is blocked in front by water.
  • Hole 14: Known as one of Green Tree’s most challenging holes, this par-4 features a creek running down the entire right side of the fairway.
  • Hole 17: This hole includes a 90-degree dogleg left after a long fairway and is then completed with a green guarded by water and a sand bunker.
